The research behind the cafecito & workshop
If you're curious where this work comes from, here's the research and practice behind it.

What my research found on socioemotional skills training for student wellbeing
Everyone grows differently
Students came for different reasons and left with different results. For some it was one insight about themselves, for others a whole set of new skills. That’s why there’s more than one way in, from a cafecito to a workshop.
Choosing to be there matters
Students learned most in small groups where they felt safe and had chosen to come. When the same training was mandatory, it didn’t help, and some results even got worse. That’s why everything here is an invitation, small and in a safe a welcoming space.
Reflecting is the start, practice is the change
Thinking about yourself wasn’t enough to feel better. Students asked for small, repeated chances to try things in real life. So in a cafecito or the Focus Club, you reflect, choose one small experiment and see what happens.
