About the event
A PhD can be lonely. Some days the hardest part is simply sitting down to do the work you know you need to do.
The Inner Focus Club gives you a place to do that with others. Each session draws on deep work approach, mindfulness and practical time management techniques that help you get started and stay with the task.
Just as important is the community. You'll be working alongside other PhD candidates who know what this stage feels like, and who will support you through it.
How a session works: we start with a short check-in where you name the task you've been putting off. Then a brief focus practice to bring your attention to the work. After that we work quietly side by side, phones away. We close by sharing how it went, whatever happened.
Who it's for: PhD candidates at any stage, in any field. You don't…
